Web Portal Overview

The Profile Magician web portal is the command center for your migration projects. It allows you to create configuration jobs, track machine status, manage licenses, and collaborate with your team.

Dashboard

The main dashboard provides a high-level view of your organization's activity.

• Recent Jobs: A list of the most recent migration jobs you've created.
• Quick Actions: Buttons to create new jobs or download the client.
• License Status: View your remaining available licenses.

Jobs

The Jobs section is where you manage migration configurations. A "Job" represents a specific migration scenario (e.g., "Accounting Dept to New Domain").

• Create Job: Define source/target domains and user mappings.
• Job Details: Click into a job to see the list of machines that have run it.
• Edit Config: Update the settings for a job.

Machines

The Machines section provides an asset-centric view.

• Inventory: See every unique machine that has ever checked in with Profmage.
• Telemetry: View OS version, serial number, storage usage, and discovered user profiles.
• History: See a timeline of every migration job run on a specific machine.

Settings

• Team: Invite other administrators to your organization.
• Billing: Manage your subscription and license count.
